A RARE EXPERIENCE IN TASTE

Located on the ground floor of the mall at 149 ogudu road, Lagos, Lincs Café couldn’t be a more fitting environment for private moments. The Café’s cosy modern yet antique wall and furnishing allow customers to enjoy a functional and intimate interior, or an aesthetically befitting outdoor setting.

I wandered in on a Tuesday morning, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of brewing coffee and toast. They operated an open kitchen and that thrilled me. It’s comforting to know your meals are made under hygienic conditions. For a Health conscious café, their menu was salads, smoothies, parfaits, waffles, pancakes, coffee, cappuccino, lemonade, etc And they had signature foods too.

The restaurant had style seating area and I decided to start with the hot chocolate and sandwich. It was a relishing experience! It was about 8:30 in the morning and the place soon filled up with those coming from the gym, friends going to work and wanted a quick bite, others ‘to go’. The charming, beautiful and obviously healthy CEO lady – Ronke Olayioye, was around and I also had parfait on the house. It was smooth and packed with rich fruits. It blended together beautifully in my mouth.

Healthy eating is not about strict dietary limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of foods you love. Rather it’s developing healthy foods that make you feel great, having more energy, improving your health and stabilizing your mood.  And at Lincs Café, their aim is to help you choose a ‘realistic healthy diet, especially one that helps to maintain or improve your overall health. They keep the food simple, fresh and natural.

In case you’re wondering, there’s nothing pretentious about the Café, which has just the right amount of sophistication without ever making you feel out of place. The cosy indoor and breezy outdoor spaces are perfect for alone time and/or small groups.  And fear not for your pockets though! Prices are affordable and there’s also a seasonal set menu with enough variety to satisfy even picky eaters.

By the end of my short stay, I was already planning my next visit. Should you visit the place @lincscafe, kindly return to share your experience with us.
