I’m Tiwa, a Creative Entrepreneur and Director in Fashion Business and Art. I’m also a Writer, Entrepreneur, Speaker, and a Contemporary Christian Fiction author with the pen name ‘T.A. Tieri’, and host my podcast – ‘I Know How This Story Ends’.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

First off, I’m Jesus’ hand-crafted testimony. I’m a God-believing, fun-loving choleric lady-entrepreneur, and I must confess, you will see a bit of it spill in my style of writing and abstract art. I love contemporary and classical music. I mess with my hair a lot, love watching good movies, and animations and comedies; reruns of “Friends” and “Fairly Odd Parents” are still my current favorites!
I love writing and painting – obviously, reading good novels and exploring new dishes!
Little things of life such as a fresh plant in the desert or a cute baby’s smile, always remind me God is real! And as much as I would love to travel more to satisfy my adventure thirst, I don’t like long trips!

ART JOURNEY

I’ve always loved art, and painted as a hobby, and it came in handy on my grief journey. In losing my husband, I lost myself, but painting allowed me dream again. I paint mostly abstract on black canvases to remind myself God is weaving a beautiful tapestry even with my dark and messy life-canvas. Creating with my hands is therapeutic and even more exciting and fulfilling when my art causes joy to others.

PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, I started out five years in Audit and accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers. I switched to the Fashion industry six years later, ran my fashion brand successfully for five years, and continued to bag my MBA in Fashion Business from Thomas Jefferson University, PA.

To be of more value to others professionally, I also obtained an online certificate as a Life coach from New Skill Academy, UK. Life coaching involves bridging the gap between reality and dreams with professional analysis.

I volunteer with Dress for Success, DC as the Suiting Program Manager, and I’m also privileged to proffer guidance to the members of the Professional Women’s Group when I can.
